John Thomas and Epsie Melinda Felker Adams & Some Descendants

adamsfamilycirca1913.jpg

This is a picture of John Thomas & Epsie Melinda (Felker) Adams and some descendants. This picture was taken on April 8, 1913, probably at John and Epsie's house in Newberry.
Please do not take this picture from this site without permission from here.
Thanks to Christopher Smith (e-mail) for this wonderful picture.

I am descended from Henry and Emaline "Milly" (Alewine) Adams in two ways. Two of their children are both of my ancestors. One of their daughters, Martha Emeline, married Stephen Cromer; their son, John Thomas, married Epsie Melinda Felker. Emeline's great-grandson and John Thomas's granddaughter married in the early 1900s.

I have traced my Adams line back to Henry's great-grandparents, John and Eve (Smith) Adams, who lived in Rowan County, North Carolina in the 1700s. Eve was the daughter of Peter and Barbara (?) Smith/Schmidt, but I have not been able to trace the line back any further. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have any questions, information, comments? Don't hesitate to contact me!
